Founded by artist and designer Rory Shamlian in 2019, Rory Pots was born from a deep exploration of ceramic craftsmanship and a passion for lighting design. With a background in vintage lighting restoration, Rory developed a keen eye for detail, form, and function—drawing inspiration from mid-century modern, Scandinavian, Japandi, and Art Deco influences. Her designs merge this knowledge with the tactile nature of ceramics, resulting in timeless, sculptural lighting pieces.

Rory’s work has been featured in Dwell Magazine, Architectural Digest, Vanity Fair, and has been used by renowned designers like Bobby Berk. She takes great pleasure in collaborating with clients, creating custom lighting that reflects both her artistic vision and the unique needs of each space.
