Order Processing:

Rory Pots ships nationwide, and local pickup is available during checkout. Please note that the cost of shipping is not included in the purchase price, and items are shipped via USPS or UPS Shipping with the shipping cost calculated at checkout.

Ready-to-ship items will be dispatched within 3-5 days from the time of order. The lead time for MADE TO ORDER items is currently 10-12 weeks. If you have specific timelines or project requirements, we recommend allowing sufficient time between placing your order and your desired delivery date.

Please note that once we've begun processing an order, we are unable to accept changes or modifications to the order. We kindly ask that you review your order carefully before submitting to ensure it meets your specifications.

Handmade Clause:

At Rory Pots, everything we create is meticulously crafted by hand. We do not utilize slip-casting or machine presses ensuring that each piece is truly one-of-a-kind. This unique craftsmanship is what gives our pieces their distinct character and impact in your home.

While we strive for consistency, please note that due to the handmade nature of our processes, there may be slight variations in glaze, form, etc. from one piece to another. These variations are inherent to the art of handcrafting and are part of what makes each piece from Rory Pots so uniquely special. We celebrate these subtle differences as they contribute to the charm and individuality of every item we create.

Customization

At Rory Pots we take great pride in crafting bespoke creations that reflect your individual style and specific design requirements, ensuring that every piece is tailored to your needs. 

We offer two options for custom work:

  1. Custom Adjustments to Existing Designs:  If you have a specific design from our current collection in mind and would like to make adjustments to it, we can accommodate those changes for a 35% custom fee. This option allows for modifications to size, color, or other features of our existing collections. This fee is calculated as a percentage of the product cost as listed, ensuring that we allocate the necessary resources to bring your custom creations to life with the utmost care and attention to detail. 

  2. Bespoke Designs:  For a fully bespoke piece, we charge a design fee of $150 per hour. This fee covers the time spent on conceptualizing and designing your unique piece to your exact specifications and design needs. Should you decide to not move forward with the design, you are still liable for all design time accrued. Should you choose to move forward with the final design, this fee will be integrated into the total price of the custom piece. We take great pride in crafting bespoke creations that reflect your individual style and specific design requirements, ensuring that every piece is tailored to your needs. 

A deposit of 50% is required upon design approval, with the remaining balance due upon completion. Production time can average around 10 weeks from design approval, however custom orders occasionally require more production time than standard items. We will provide an estimated timeline during your consultation based on your project's specific requirements. Due to the personalized nature of these orders, cancellations or changes to your custom order once production has begun are not possible. We are dedicated to your satisfaction and will address any concerns promptly.

Return Policy:

At Rory Pots, each item from our studio is diligently crafted by hand, making it a unique work of art designed exclusively for you. We take pride in the artisanal nature of our creations, which means that no two pieces are exactly alike.

Due to the handmade craftsmanship of our products, we do not accept returns or offer refunds. However, we stand behind the quality of our work and will replace any item that arrives damaged during shipping, at no additional cost to you.

It's important to note that while our stoneware items are durable, ceramics are inherently delicate. Therefore, we can only replace items damaged in transit and within 7 days of receipt/delivery to you. This time frame ensures that any shipping-related issues can be promptly addressed, reflecting our commitment to delivering exceptional handmade pieces to our valued customers. Please see the steps to take, below, should your package be damaged in transit to you.

Damaged Packages:

In the unfortunate event that a package arrives damaged, please reach out to us at hello@rorypots.com so we can help. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to check for damage within 7 business days of receiving your order. Unfortunately, we are unable to help with damages or provide a replacement if damages are reported more than 7 days after delivery. If your order does arrive damaged, we will need pictures of the damaged item as well as the packaging. We will also need the box and the shipping label so please hang on to this until further advisement.

We will prioritize the re-make of your item in our production queue, however the turnaround for a replacement may take up to 4-6 weeks depending on your order.

Steps to take should your item(s) arrive damaged:

  1. Within 7 days of receiving your package, reach out to our customer care team at hello@rorypots.com

  2. Please include:

    1. your order number

    2. a list of the item(s) that were damaged upon arrival

    3. photo(s) of each damaged item(s) and the packaging box it shipped in 

  3. We may also need the box and the shipping label so please hang on to these items until further advisement.

  4. Once we receive this information, we’ll follow up with you directly to resolve this issue and discuss next steps.
